Chocolate Rivers Outside My Window

This is the poem for the day, entitled "Chocolate Rivers Outside My Window"

Rain, rain, rain adding to the feeble creek
The banks can barely hold you
They begin to give way the soil rushing down
Trees begin to lean like that great tower in Italy

Rain, rain, rain sending streams down cement walkways
It's not fair, new shoes do not deserve to be ruined
You do not care for my shoes
You do not care for me

Rain, rain, rain bringing with you thunder and lightening
Not cool rain, not cool
You electricute my fan and nearly miss me
Very bad rain, very bad

Rain, you have turned my creek into chocolate
Waters raging making crossing impossible
I stare at you from inside my window
You think you're so cool...
